How Obama Failed: He Lost the Key

Along about the time Barack and Michelle Obama’s worldwide vacation ends in January 2012, the massive cost to the American taxpayer for the President’s spendulus package will be sinking in. Hopefully House Republicans will have by then defunded Obamacare but, if not, insurance premiums will be at least triple what they were when he “fixed” health care.

To what do we attribute this gargantuan bloating of the U.S. economy?

On “60 Minutes with Barack Obama” this week the President told us. He didn’t get the cooperation he expected from Republicans and he failed to “persuade” us that he was right about health care and we were wrong.

Well, that clears it up. Barry went on to explain that he lost the key to the House conference room when he and Nancy Pelosi’s Democratic committee “negotiated” the health care bill. It is absolutely untrue that Republicans were locked out. And, by the way, his current trip to Asia is not costing $200,000,000 a day. It’s only costing $50,000,000 a day. Period. A steal. Let’s see, 565 rooms times … What’s the exchange rate on rupees?

And I used to call Bill Clinton the Bart Simpson President.

Meanwhile, El Presidente and Hill Democrats are still insisting that the rich—that would be you—must pay hirer taxes. According to WSJ this week: “Obama again proposed a permanent extension of tax breaks for middle-class Americans, and rejected a permanent extension of higher-earner rates, citing deficit concerns.” After all we have to pay for the Mumbai trip.

What we have here is a changed man, I tell you.
