Boehner, Start By Outlawing Motor Voter

In Can You Hear Me Now?, Civil Lefts, The War on Speech on 10/11/2010 at 19:01

We all know that Republicans are the crooks in our political system. Remember when Nixon made his famous I-am-not-a-crook statement and everyone knew he was? So it’s a given; Republicans are the crooks.

So why is it that every time we hear of a voter scandal, dating back to 1960, when Joe Kennedy stuffed the ballot boxes in Chicago, Democrats are always behind it?

Check you history. All the way back to Boss Tweed at Tammany Hall and the Klan in the South, for 100 years after the Civil War, Democrats have had a scandalous record of stuffing ballot boxes, rigging and buying elections. Actually it goes back before that, but it is glaringly pervasive in the modern era.

The Clinton Administration’s motor voter law during the 1990s was nothing more than a strategy to rig elections for Democrats, allowing precinct organizations to “cart-and-counsel” seniors to the polls. Legalized voter fraud. This of course was enacted prior to the huge Republican congressional victory of 1994.

In 1997, Loretta Sanchez stole congressman Bob Dornan’s seat in California, with noncitizen votes. No one know to this day how many illegals regularly vote in national elections, and no one is checking, but more than 800 voted in that contest.

In 2008, there is no question that ACORN was engaged in widespread voter fraud across the country. It was an organized conspiracy but, as usual, no one pursued criminal action against the national directors of that organization.

We also saw the Obama justice department turn its head to the Black Panther voter intimidation case—which is certainly akin to voter fraud—in the 2008 race. All of this, Democrat sponsored, encouraged or ignored voting misconduct.

And now we see another organization, Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts, implicated in what is being called massive voter fraud in Massachusetts. Pajama’s Media has the story here.

Now, I’m not saying that Republicans have never been involved in voter fraud, they have, but it is a trend in the Democratic ranks. And in recent times these incidences of fraud are initiated and carried out by so-called “community organizers” closely connected to the Democratic Party.

The new Republican Congress should begin their tenure in January by repealing the Clinton motor voter law and defunding all community organizing groups receiving federal money to register voters. They should pass federal legislation restricting attempts by so-called nonpartisan political groups’ voter outreaches prior to national and state elections.
