Andrew Breitbart Outs David Brock, Big Time; Palin: ‘Corrupt Bastards’

In Can You Hear Me Now? on 01/11/2010 at 07:34

In a scathing interview with the Daily Caller today, Andrew Breitbart defended his releasing of an Alaska CBS News affiliate voice mail, left on a staff member of Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller’s phone. The tape, left inadvertently by members of KTVA Anchorage news team, shows them conspiring to damage Miller’s reputation, by “finding a child molester” among Miller’s supporters to derail the GOP nominee’s candidacy.

Jumping into the fray, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin called the Alaska media “corrupt bastards,” and emphasized that this kind of yellow journalism is what she has had to put up with for two years. DC reports: “According to a transcript posted by Miller’s campaign, a female employee, speaking about an upcoming Miller rally, said: ‘We know that out of all the people that will show up tonight, at least one of them will be a registered sex offender.’”

“You have to find that one person,” a male reporter responded, with laughter audible in the background.

Breitbart, publisher of Breitbart.com, Big Journalism.com and Big Government.com, is now under attack by former GOP-aide-turned-left-wing-blogger David Brock, purveyor of the highly discredited website, Media Matters. Brock who came out of the closet in the late 1980s, and is now an avowed homosexual, operates the website with funding from George Soros.

In a later news release ABC News, who had requested that Breitbart be part of its Tuesday night Election coverage as a commentator, is walking back the offer under pressure from Soros-backed media and websites, and saying that Brietbart is only an ABC guest.

KTVA released a statement saying: “The perception that this garbled, out of context recording may leave is unfortunate, but to allege that our staff was discussing or planning to create or fabricate stories regarding candidate Miller is absurd,” he said. “The complete conversation was about what others might be able to do to cause disruption within the Miller campaign, not what KTVA could do.”

Huh?

GOP candidate Joe Miller is locked in a neck-and-neck battle with Senator Lisa Murkowski, who is running against Miller as an independent after losing the GOP nomination in the primary. Breitbart called the Republican Party and media in Alaska corrupt and added that their character assassination of Palin was the reason she had to depart the governorship short her full term.

Media Matters, which has been involved in scandalous left-wing smear tactics for years on behalf of George Soros and Hillary Clinton, is out in force tonight misreporting the events that led up to the story. It is not yet known whether Murkowski’s camp is involved.

Memo to David Brock: This is not how you land a big sweaty lumberjack, sweetie.
