Mr. President, A Tutorial on Jihad

A few moderate Muslims express themselves in England

Yesterday, Professor Obama made another appearance, this time in India, when asked the deeply burning question, “What do you think of jihad?”

One had to sympathize. I mean presidents are constantly roped into doing stupid things like dancing some ridiculous step with a group of local students and eating stuff that would gag a maggot. But this was the real corker.

What is a president to do who doesn’t want to offend the families and friends of the 19 al Qaeda terrorists who took down the World Trade Center and Pentagon? Especially a president who runs U.S. foreign policy like a game of fantasy football.

Well, dang it, he instructs the heck out of us, that’s what.

“The phrase jihad has a lot of meanings within Islam and is subject to a lot of different interpretations,” Mr. Obama tells us, his rapt listeners. “I think all of us recognize that this great religion in the hands of a few extremists has been distorted to justify violence towards innocent people that is never justified. And so, I think, one of the challenges that we face is, how do we isolate those who have these distorted notions of religious war?”

Naturally, Muslim leaders all over India were thrilled with our learned leader’s astuteness.

The “few extremists” being no more than 110 million strong, I can understand the President’s concern that we not over react. For all you conspiracy goofballs out there, this is proof positive that I’m right. Obama is not a Muslim. The man doesn’t even understand the difference between the greater and the lesser jihad.

There are two, and only two, jihads, Mr. President: the greater jihad is the inner struggle to become a good Muslim. This entails shrouding women in burqas and other garb, so as to prevent them from causing you to lust, among other things. Let’s not get into that whole beating and stoning thing; suffice to say the greater jihad is the good jihad.

Then we come to the lesser jihad. Less, as in less is more. The lesser jihad is the Muslim struggle against imagined oppression. At the center of this “oppression” is the supposed persecution of Islam by world Jewry and Christianity. About a million Saudi sheiks in Roll Royces concur.

I won’t belabor this definition, only to say that the only jihad that should matter to an American president is the lesser jihad. It is aimed at destroying us.

Yet President Obama and his administration have since coming to office treated it as though a few intenerate Muslims went off the reservation in 2001. Admittedly, no U.S. president since Jefferson has understood Islam. It is a religion which at its core is bent on world domination, and no amount of PC side-stepping will change that.

But okay, let’s give Muslims the benefit of the doubt and accede to the possibility that there is such a thing as “moderate” Islam. I am dubious but I’ll will allow the possibility.

The problem is that moderate Muslims are not in control of the faith. The average Islamic cleric in the U.S. alone shudders at the very idea of speaking out against the extremists in their religion. The lesser jihad is taught widely in their mosques and schools across this country and virtually no one dares speak out against it.

And, obviously, Barack Obama will not speak out, either.

Mr. President, what is wrong with saying that the United State wants to live in peace with all nations, cultures and religions, but we will not tolerate the monstrous acts of a significant segment of the Islamic faith? What is wrong saying that “mainstream” Islamic leaders must speak out loudly against the extremists within their faith?

What is wrong, Mr. President, with acknowledging a truth that all but the most naïve among us already knows?

A Question of Competency or Patriotism?

Barack Obama is a very angry man. He grew up angry. During the course of his upbringing he was exposed to some of the most rancid thinking American society has to offer. His mother spewed her hatred for America from the time she was in high school, his grandfather placed him under the influence of pedophile-communist Frank Marshall Davis, and he learned at a tender age to despise this country’s form of government.

While most black Americans view him as an African American male, the President has neither history nor interest in the civil rights struggle of the 1960s, or of Afro-American politics in general. He is African but not African American. The best description would probably be African Indonesian.

He was coddled in his views into adulthood in liberal universities, and he joined the Trinity United Church of Christ because of them.  Obama may not be a racist but the indications are there when one considers the views of Jeremiah Wright, a man he has admitted to thinking of as “an uncle.”

Obama’s views on Israel and Jews in general—his obviously pro-Muslim leanings—fly in the face of modern Christianity, yet the media have diligently to this day run cover for him. Even Bill O’Reilly at Fox, who was in the best position to expose him during the 2008 campaign, simply could not believe that then Senator Obama could have such fetid and archaic opinions. But Black Liberation Theology is out in the open with its anti-Semitism and anti-White American rhetoric.

It is distasteful to say that an American president hates his country. Just as we have all been taught not to call another person a liar, to question one’s patriotism is serious business. In fact it is so incomprehensible that most Americans simply cannot believe it.  As a nation we have learned to by-and-large trust our government and it offends our sensibilities to believe that such a glitch could have occurred. We cannot have elected a radical extremist to the presidency.

But the question remains: Is it true?

In order to believe otherwise one would have to accept that this top-of-the-class Columbia-Harvard educated young man is completely incompetent. To believe that in 18 short months Barack Obama could take a serious downturn in the U.S. economy and turn it into a nightmarish mountain of debt and regulation by accident, further choking off private business and jobs, defies all rationality. Even the dumbest president has an advisor or two—no matter how ideological—who can see the ramifications of these actions.

No. Incompetency is not an issue here.

Start with the Justice Department: Obama’s buddy Eric Holder has turned the DOJ into an arm of the ACLU overnight. In the face of a public outcry he has dragged his feet in prosecuting the admitted 9-11 terrorists. He has ignored cases against domestic extremists like SEIU and the New Black Panther Party and marched ahead with prosecutions of Arizona and investigations of perceived civil rights violations by Whites.

Homeland Security: Rick Perry requested drone support on the Texas border years ago. This Administration dragged its feet for months before deploying even one, while cartel violence is spilling over the border with alarming regularity. Arizona is leaking like a sieve and Napolitano continues to maintain that the border is safer than ever.

State Department: Obama—and this goes directly to his anti-Semitic leanings—has gone out of his way to torpedo US-Israeli relations.  The climate between the two nations is at its coldest in history.
He has offended our greatest ally, Great Britain and created rancor where none previously existed.

Treasury: Incompetence?  You call it.   Timothy Geithner has been in charge of over $1 trillion and has yet to net one private-sector job.  His relationship with AIG in the Fannie Mae debacle was dubious when Obama nominated him.

Defense: Although Robert Gates’ credibility cannot be questioned, Obama’s prosecution of the Afghan War literally reeks of defeatism or an intentional waste of American lives and resources, take your pick.

Interior: For 40 long days the Administration either neglected or intentionally failed to commandeer the resources that could stave off much of the oil blowing out of the Deepwater Horizon well from reach vital wetlands and beaches on the Southern Coast.

Barack Obama has never been slow a day in his life: he is fast on the basketball court, has a lightning-quick wit, is fast on debating issues, and is arguably a rhetorical genius. Yet during the Christmas Day Bombing incident, the Deepwater spill, the Fort Hood Massacre, he has been spectacularly AWOL until the worst of the damage has been done. Why?

This president does not have an incompetence problem; he has a patriotism problem.

Islam on the March in Mexico

It is one of the fastest growing religions on earth, and it is multiplying at an alarming rate according to a 2005 report by the BBC.

It is of course Islam, and with increasing tensions on the US-Mexican border, it is one more cause of concern for citizens already feeling the threat of increasingly emboldened drug and human trafficking cartels. Islam is growing in Mexico.

Although both the US and Mexican governments insist that there has been no terrorist activity by Islamic Mexicans, in 2001 an Agua Prieta, Mexico newspaper reported the apprehension of 13 Yemeni men it identified as “terrorists” attempting to cross into the United States.

And while Janet Napolitano and the Obama administration dawdle, leaders in the Mexican Islamic movement make no bones about it; Islam is on the march in Mexico. Hundreds of indigenous Mayans, a group that has been widely oppressed throughout Mexican history, have already converted.

While Islam as a whole may or may not pose an immanent threat to the United States, extremist factions within the religion are aggressive and they thrive on ignorance among uneducated and desperate converts. Hezbollah has established cells in South America with the US as its intended target.

The question remains: Can the government continue to place at risk American lives on a fanciful politically correct notion that mosques on both sides of the border are not harboring and/or training terrorists.

The drug war in Mexico makes Afghanistan look like child’s play by comparison; thousands are dying annually. Some Americans have died on both sides of the border but it is merely a matter of time until it spills over into a full-blown war on American soil.

For thirty years the open-border media have diverted public attention in the illegal immigration debate with the smokescreen of racial prejudice, when the truth could not be plainer. It is and always has been an issue of national security.

Whether Latin Muslims pose an imminent threat, if the government doesn’t move in to secure this border  soon, one day they will. Border security is not an issue of immigration or what position entrenched politicians on the right and left may have on illegals. Regardless of what is to be done with the 12 to 20 million illegals currently in the country, time has run out on the larger issues. Eventually, radical sects of Islam will penetrate US soil if the border is not closed.

Between the ongoing drug war and elements of Islamic zealots sworn to destroy America, lives will be lost as a result of our government’s laissez-faire attitude on the border. And no administration has been more criminally negligent-and it is criminal-than the current one.

The Obama administration must secure the border immediately.
