Mr. President, A Tutorial on Jihad

In The American Jihad, The Enemy Among Us, The Haters on 09/11/2010 at 19:10

A few moderate Muslims express themselves in England

Yesterday, Professor Obama made another appearance, this time in India, when asked the deeply burning question, “What do you think of jihad?

One had to sympathize. I mean presidents are constantly roped into doing stupid things like dancing some ridiculous step with a group of local students and eating stuff that would gag a maggot. But this was the real corker.

What is a president to do who doesn’t want to offend the families and friends of the 19 al Qaeda terrorists who took down the World Trade Center and Pentagon? Especially a president who runs U.S. foreign policy like a game of fantasy football.

Well, dang it, he instructs the heck out of us, that’s what.

“The phrase jihad has a lot of meanings within Islam and is subject to a lot of different interpretations,” Mr. Obama tells us, his rapt listeners. “I think all of us recognize that this great religion in the hands of a few extremists has been distorted to justify violence towards innocent people that is never justified. And so, I think, one of the challenges that we face is, how do we isolate those who have these distorted notions of religious war?”

Naturally, Muslim leaders all over India were thrilled with our learned leader’s astuteness.

The “few extremists” being no more than 110 million strong, I can understand the President’s concern that we not over react. For all you conspiracy goofballs out there, this is proof positive that I’m right. Obama is not a Muslim. The man doesn’t even understand the difference between the greater and the lesser jihad.

There are two, and only two, jihads, Mr. President: the greater jihad is the inner struggle to become a good Muslim. This entails shrouding women in burqas and other garb, so as to prevent them from causing you to lust, among other things. Let’s not get into that whole beating and stoning thing; suffice to say the greater jihad is the good jihad.

Then we come to the lesser jihad. Less, as in less is more. The lesser jihad is the Muslim struggle against imagined oppression. At the center of this “oppression” is the supposed persecution of Islam by world Jewry and Christianity. About a million Saudi sheiks in Roll Royces concur.

I won’t belabor this definition, only to say that the only jihad that should matter to an American president is the lesser jihad. It is aimed at destroying us.

Yet President Obama and his administration have since coming to office treated it as though a few intenerate Muslims went off the reservation in 2001. Admittedly, no U.S. president since Jefferson has understood Islam. It is a religion which at its core is bent on world domination, and no amount of PC side-stepping will change that.

But okay, let’s give Muslims the benefit of the doubt and accede to the possibility that there is such a thing as “moderate” Islam. I am dubious but I’ll will allow the possibility.

The problem is that moderate Muslims are not in control of the faith. The average Islamic cleric in the U.S. alone shudders at the very idea of speaking out against the extremists in their religion. The lesser jihad is taught widely in their mosques and schools across this country and virtually no one dares speak out against it.

And, obviously, Barack Obama will not speak out, either.

Mr. President, what is wrong with saying that the United State wants to live in peace with all nations, cultures and religions, but we will not tolerate the monstrous acts of a significant segment of the Islamic faith? What is wrong saying that “mainstream” Islamic leaders must speak out loudly against the extremists within their faith?

What is wrong, Mr. President, with acknowledging a truth that all but the most naïve among us already knows?

Hillary Clinton and Our Human Rights Demerits What? Is She Nuts?

When Hillary Clinton went to the United Nations citing the United States for human rights violations this week, she was obviously concerned about Arizona law enforcement officers pulling over all those Mexicans in five-year-old Chevys for smog violations. I mean, how dare they? In Tucson everyone with so much as a lawnmower and a rake in the back of a Toyota Tundra is suspect. Get a rope!

And one cannot ignore America’s shameless lack of diversity, tolerance and inclusion in not wanting Muslim terrorist sympathizers and financiers to build a mosque two blocks and a minivan carport away from Ground Zero.

Secretary Clinton has largely escaped criticism in this administration’s insane campaign to deconstruct America and turn it into a gigantic life-size replica of Kenya. Yet, Hillary was the first Alinsky radical to occupy an office in the White House, and now Americans can see this wide load with the most hideous taste in pantsuits since Rosie O’Donnell for what she really is.

But this is not a Democrat-Republican issue; every American should be incensed.

The very idea that any elected or appointed U.S. representative can go to an organization squatting on U.S. soil without so much as paying rent, is bad enough; to subject the greatest nation on earth to the scrutiny of a bunch of Third World bomb-makers we should have shipped back to their mud huts 30 years ago, is obscene.

Washington and the politicians we have elected to run it are out of sync with the American people. One more step and we might as well pass out prayer rugs in school caferaterias and put up signs pointing to Mecca. If Americans aren’t fed up with liberals—code word: progressives—now, what is next? Sensitivity reeducation camps in mini malls?

It seems the only people in the United States who are not tolerated and included are Christians, Jews and conservative Republicans. The only diversities not recognized universally by this government are traditional American values. It is no longer enough that Americans are tolerant toward gays and lesbians; we now must agree that they should have the right to marry.

Everyday Americans are under Orwellian-like scrutiny, for adhering to values that are inherent in the very Articles the Founders drafted into our Constitution. Rights not in our founding documents are being read into it, and the troublemakers, the ones who are berated day after day in the national media, are those of us who want a secure border. Something is very wrong here.

Let’s see: the President attends a Chicago church that wholesales racist, anti-American and incendiary rhetoric like bootleg CDs at a flea market, and the media ignores it as if it were no more than a low speed bump in a Target parking lot. And we call that inclusion? How very Upper East Side.

In April 1986, Ronald Reagan took the decidedly intolerant step of attacking Muammer Gaddafi’s compound near Tripoli, after Libyan terrorists bombed a German discotheque and killed two American servicemen. Now Libya has been elected to the U.N. Human Rights Council. What is that, an achievement reward for the bombing of Pan Am 103?

Friend, I don’t care what your political stripe is; this is Twilight Zone brand insanity. It is time for Democrats, Republicans and Independents to join together to condemn the globalist sycophants in our government who are propagating this nonsense.

Islam: Does One Size Fit All?

In The American Jihad, The Enemy Among Us, The Haters on 21/08/2010 at 18:34

Editor’s Note: Many of my articles now appear on Associated Content. My series on my twenty-year friendship with avant-garde rocker Captain Beefheart is receiving enormous international attention. Please drop by and check out the articles. Incidentally, I am also welcoming new friends on my Facebook page.

The minute George W. Bush was informed that a plane had hit the World Trade Center he began to make mistakes. Those mistakes would dog his presidency, and we will live with the tragic results of them when some other jihadist or group thereof acquires another target on U.S. soil. And that will most assuredly happen.

Item: His first mistake was constitutional. He rationalized that because the United States was not attacked by foreign power—another nation—that he could not go to Congress for a declaration of war. Immediately, that placed us in the Korea-Vietnam model: a declared police action or series of them. Granted, no president has every declared war on a religion, but nothing in the Constitution prohits it.

It was a foundational mistake and everything he or any president would do thereafter would compound it. One can almost visualize the meeting that must have taken place at Camp David when someone asked the question: What do we call this war? Everyone from the joint chiefs and the Secretary of Defense to the White House press secretary had to be there. “We can’t call it a ‘War on Islamic Terrorists,’” said someone. “We don’t want to be perceived as picking on Muslims.”

Someone else at that point dug up an old speech made by Ronald Reagan in the aftermath of the Beirut barracks bombing. “Here it is,” he or she said. “War on Terrorism.” Bingo. We have defined the mission. Thus the misnomer: War on Terror.

We are not, of course, engaged in a war on terror. We are engaged in a war against Wahhabism in the specific, and all extreme (possibly another misnomer, if one considers the fact that Islam itself is pretty extreme) Islam in general.

Item: He assumed that Islam on the whole is a rational religion. He sought out and got the advice of “experts” steeped in PC thinking and almost no historical education on Islam, and determined that he would receive support from “moderate” Muslims. The jihadists, in these so-called experts minds, amounted to something between 1 and 10 percent of Islam, and the remaining 90 percent would not present a problem to the United States. But we’re still talking of somewhere between 50 and 300 million fundamentalists, so one can easily see the futility of this rationale.

Now we are in the “good Muslim-bad Muslim” debate. How does one determine whether a Muslim is a moderate, or if he or she is secretly harboring anti-Semitic and anti-Christian animosities? Well, we can’t. One must go to their Koran (which in and of itself presents a problem, because Muslims translate their holiest book according to the whether) to find out.   But here is what the Koran says about Jews and Christians:

Surah 2:98 ‘Whoever is the enemy of Allah and His angels and His apostles and Jibreel and Meekaeel, so surely Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers.’

Islam and other religions mix like oil and water. In an Islamic country, Jews and Christians are often allowed to live along side Muslims (within certain restrictive guidelines), but the moment they take up arms against even the most evil Muslim, they are toast.

Most people in Judeo-Christian, and especially secular, America simply cannot comprehend the fact that Islam is about world domination. All other religions according to the Koran are the “enemies of Allah.”

Item: He misidentified Islam as a religion. The Bush Administration’s third mistake was catastrophic but in all fairness probably cannot be solely attributed to them. The State Department is full of these PC imbeciles and has been for decades.

Islam is a religion—among many other things. But unlike any other major religion on earth it is also a political, financial and social philosophy. The entire non-Muslim world is out of sync with those philosophies. Islam is incompatible with all other religions, unless Islam is the “ruling” religion.

Welcome to the 21st century. We have a Muslim sycophant in the White House, a media that might as while put a sign up: “Al Jazeera: New York Bureau,” and a controlling minority of radical leftists that wants al Qaeda to win this war. Thirty percent of Americans don’t mind a bit that a Muslim mosque is being built virtually upon the graves of thousands of our enemy’s victims.

Now a word to Muslims:

If you are a moderate American Muslim and you have taken offense to what I have said here, I would be overjoyed if you will prove me wrong.

Here is how you can do that:

Call upon your clerics to speak out; tell them to call Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and the networks and universally condemn al Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah and all extremists. Tell him not to get discouraged when NBC, CNN, CBS and ABC turn him down; Fox News is chomping at the bit to hear any Muslim condemn these sociopathic monsters.

Next Step: Tell your cleric when he goes on air, to name names and declare all extremist Muslims infidels and traitors to Islam. He’ll need to prepare a list ahead of time.

Next Step: Be sure to tell your imam not to forget to decry Muslim brutality against women around the world. We all know that good Muslims don’t believe in shrouding women in Dark Ages burqas and that you don’t believe in beating, raping, stoning or female circumcision, but reassure us specifically.

Last Step: It will take more than one isolated imam to get this righteous message across, so form a—dare I say it?—Tea Party-type movement, and insist that all of your clerics get on board. March in the streets. We want to see it in the press, saturating the radio airwaves, and on television at six o’clock every evening when we get home.

When you have done this, get back to us; maybe then we will believe you.
