Palin Staffer Sells Out for the Big Bucks

In Disappearing Ink, Palinography, Sarah Palin on 21/02/2011 at 17:30

Frank Bailey worked his way into Sarah Palin’s favor as a volunteer in her campaign for governor of Alaska, to become one her closest advisors in that office. He has since “been forced to reconsider his actions on Palin’s behalf in terms of his deep Christian faith … ” for money.

For the second time since Sarah Palin left him behind upon her resignation, Bailey is shopping a “tell-all” of his years as a staff member in her office. This time he has secured the services of New York literary agent Carol Mann to pedal his trashy opus, “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of our Tumultuous Years.”

According to some in the publishing industry Bailey stands to make as much as $100,000 up front, and between $500,000 and $1 million in total for his scandalous tell-all.

In his quest for publication, from the get-go, Bailey plays fast and loose with the facts, by alleging that Palin made a political appointment to the state Supreme Court as personal payoff. The former staffer claims that the governor appointed a pro-choice judge rather than pro-lifer to the state Supreme Court for ruling in her sister’s favor in her custody dispute with state trooper Mike Wooten.

The dispute between Wooten and his then wife, Molly, Palin’s sister, resulted in the “Trooper-Gate” scandal, which was concocted by DNC operatives in the media to derail the 2008 McCain-Palin campaign. The fact is, both of the judges eligible for the appointment to the court were pro-choice, and the one Palin ultimately selected was never assigned to her sister’s custody case.

With that kind of command of the facts, Bailey may be able to secure a recently opened anchor position at MSNBC when book sales die down.

There will no doubt be more leaks in days to come, all designed to interest Random House et al.

One reason Bailey’s previous book failed to attract a publisher was that he was playing in the big pool—the ultimate mud puddle. Virtually every disreputable writer and journalist in America has taken an underhanded shot a Palin over the last two and a half years; even heretofore mainstream journalists have not been able to resist the temptation to go tabloid where the beautiful conservative firebrand is concerned.

In this era of microwavable success where—in the words of Tom Petty—“it seems people want to … start at ‘American Idol’ and go on to some form of instant fame from there,” what Bailey is attempting to do has been almost legitimized. Much of it may be the result of under teaching morality and ethics in our schools, but more often than not it is simply laziness. For a man like Bailey, who missed the “brass ring” on the Palin bandwagon, writing a tell-all probably seemed like easy way back into the game.

In the end, of course, he is just a bottom feeder like the others who sell out those who trusted them with their most closely guarded secrets, or who pedal thinly veiled lies for a price.

Frank Bailey will sell his manuscript this time, if for no other reason than the fact that nothing else has worked in the Left’s attempt to destroy Sarah Palin. He will have no integrity left but he will, like Scott McClellan before him, have momentary albeit fleeting success.

And then he will join the legions of others who have bitten the hands that fed them, and become an ugly footnote in the history of a great life.

New Pigford Documentary: Another Multi-Billion Dollar Grift

In Bowling for Dollars, Civil Lefts, Disappearing Ink, Obamarama on 12/02/2011 at 18:46

Grifter in Chief

Further evidence of fraud by Andrew Breitbart in the Pigford reparations scandal should come as no surprise to anyone who has been following the story. Now Lee Stranahan, whom Breitbart brought in from the Huffington Post to double check his facts, is on board with an upcoming documentary that will expose organizational wrongdoing in the case.

In other words, not only did thousands of un-entitled claimants file for damages, but they may have been encouraged and told how to successfully file those fraudulent claims by the organizations that set up the scam.

Stranahan and Breitbart presented a video at a CPAC presser yesterday that will eventually become part of a larger documentary; it includes undercover audio that indicates a conspiracy to commit fraud by the head of at least one Democrat-supported nonprofit.

Rep. Michele Bachmann introduced Breitbart who in turn brought on Stranahan and GOP Rep. Steve King from Iowa. King, who has been investigating Pigford II since 2008, has been smeared as a racist by the left for describing the scheme as a Trojan horse for slavery reparations.

Does any of this sound familiar?

A disturbing pattern is emerging here that indicates far more than the multibillion-dollar Pigford theft of taxpayer dollars. Put it together with the massive 2009 ACORN scandal and recent revelations of corruption within Planned Parenthood, and we begin to see a much-repeated, criminal modus operandi within Democrat-supported nonprofits.

Stranahan—who is not a conservative—has laid out a scathing indictment against Pigford II; he has not only exposed widespread corruption on the part of lawmakers and liberal nonprofits, but also suggests further intentional disregard by the national media, after similar abuses were expose in the ACORN and Planned Parenthood scandals.

More shockingly, it appears that President Obama himself may have been knowingly involved in this fraud from the very beginning, as a United States senator. Lots of luck making it stick but it certainly appears that way.

With the revelation this week by former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel that he supports slavery reparations, and President Obama’s outright prevarication to Bill O’Reilly that he is not for wealth redistribution, it is clear that this administration will stop at nothing to promote its socialist agenda.

In 1972, a couple of cub reporters at the Washington Post brought down an American presidency for a little two-bit burglary at the Watergate; you’d think a multibillion-dollar grift by this president would at least attract a sidebar.

Rachel Maddow Apologizes To Barney Frank For Those Tea Party Homophobes.

In Obamacare on 23/03/2010 at 08:09

In an interview today on her low-rated MSNBC talk show, Rachel Maddow apologized to gay congressman Barney Frank for those gay-bashing Tea Party protesters who ganged the capitol yesterday. Both Maddow and the congressman tied House GOP members to (“more than one”) slurs, Frank accusing Republican congressmen of “egging them on.” Frank called the protestors “thuggish.” Rep Frank, the only current member of congress to have operated a gay brothel in Washington, went on to say that he didn’t have much respect for “those people” anyway.

The two blathered on for five minutes about how the majority rules, which made them obvious winners, ignoring virtually every pole in the nation showing that the majority doesn’t want ObamaCare or anything close to it.

Maddow, a venomous pro-abortion and gay activist, also attacked Democrat sellout Bart Stupak for his alleged pro-life views. With MSNBC ratings already in the toilet, the network needs all the help it can get to bury the company. Of the one percent of one percent of cable viewers who watch her show, all three said they would certainly never attend a Tea Party rally after this.

Along with Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, Maddow (the only one of the three I’d be afraid to fight), has been alienating even mainstream Democrats with her vitriolic lambasting of anyone who doesn’t agree with her. She has slandered Rush Limbaugh with false stories, and attacked Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin. It only makes sense that Rachel would brand an entire movement for the ill manners of a few bad apples, something she vehemently condemned when the Right called into question the conduct of Kevin Jennings. Jennings is the controversial Obama-appointed “safe schools czar,” who gave a 16-year-old boy sexual advice for an affair with a 34-year-old man.

Politico interviewed Andrew Breitbart last month, and the blogger went off on Maddow’s attacks on former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s family, saying in part:

“The left’s Alinsky tactics — that’s you Rachel Maddow — of isolating Sarah Palin or her poor children and beating on them, beating on them, beating on them … [won’t succeed] with the tea party movement. …You can call them racists and homophobes. But those tricks aren’t working anymore, because people are saying, ‘This is ridiculous.’”

You can read and view excerpts of the interview here.

Right again, Andy. The Three Mesketeers at A Mess at NBC are a sorry lot, and Maddow is most inept by far. Wait. Did I say that? Screeech!

I am, however, concerned for Rachel’s personal safety. ObamaCare will be law tomorrow, and I know you’re excited. But please stay away from the hospitals. We wouldn’t want to see you trampled by the doctors stampeding out of the profession.
