Breaking: Jared Lee Loughner Interned at NBC!

In Civil Lefts, Disappearing Ink, Sarah Palin, The Haters on 11/01/2011 at 20:44

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) – Jared Lee Loughner, the accused gunman in the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and the deaths of six innocent bystanders in Tucson, worked for NBC last summer during the Tea Party uprisings in Phoenix and Tucson. Loughner wounded 12 others in the attack.

While management at NBC’s New York offices have not responded to calls from the Associated Press this morning, sources close to the FBI investigation into the Arizona shooting say Loughner was a “gofer-type” employee whose primary duties included helping camera operators and sound technicians in the Phoenix/Tucson area.

“We all thought Jared was so cool,” said one NBC employee speaking on condition of anonymity. “He did a spot-on impersonation of George Soros.” The employee, who described herself as an associate producer/La Raza executive board member, said Loughner left his job at the network because of what he described as a “media conspiracy to improperly conjugate verbs.”

FBI sources say that the alleged gunman is not cooperating with investigators, but that he has asked them to deliver a message to NBC vice president in charge of cable programming. NBC management refused to reveal the contents of the message, but anonymous sources have informed AP that the alleged gunman was disturbed with MSNBC’s coverage of the shooting and with Keith Olbermann’s grammar.

There is no evidence to suggest that Loughner was tied to an alleged MSNBC plot to kill members of congress and pin them on Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh, but tension has been running high at the NBC cable news outlet over flagging ratings.

Just kidding.

We thought that, since the liberal media is creating news out of whole cloth to capture ratings, that we would try it. Our apologies to the Associated Press and NBC for using their trademarks in posting this blog. You guys can take a joke, right?

Olbermann Canned, Pelosi Runs!!!

In Civil Lefts, Disappearing Ink on 05/11/2010 at 22:29

Three really bright spots in the political news today.

First, Keith Olbermann has been canned at MSNBC. For the uninformed, that means that A-Mess-At-NBC will now only have three viewers left, less the five who watched Olbermann nightly on his “Countdown” broadcast. The word broke in Politico today that Olbermann breached NBC policy by contributing to three (undoubtedly three of his five viewers) Democratic Party candidates, at least one of whom he interviewed the day he made the maximum contribution of $2,400.

The firing comes in the wake of abysmal sales of Olby’s new book, “Pitchfork and Torches” on Amazon. Can this mean we’ll be seeing Keith back on KCBS in Los Angeles. Pah-leese tell us it ain’t so! Look, I hate to see anybody lose a job during these tough times, so I have it on good authority Pravda is hiring. Give ‘em a ring, Keith.

Second best news: Nancy Pelosi is running for House minority leader. This is the best news the GOP has had all year, barring last Tuesday night’s tidal wave election. The RNC could not get that much anti-Democrat publicity in 10 years of negative advertising. Write your representatives; tell them to VOTE NANCY.

The third piece of good news is that White House press secretary and ABC anchorman Robert Gibbs has announced that the Republican’s forthcoming bill to repeal Obamacare will not get past the Senate. This is not new news; it is just a reassuring reminder that the Democrats still don’t get it.

In other news: John Kerry is still delinquent on his yacht taxes. What’s the deal here, John, Ketchup sales down, or has Teresa got you on a tight allowance?

Finally, it looks that in spite of his reelection, Barney Frank is at long last losing the respect of his liberal supporters in the media. After repeated scandals involving Frank and his boy toys in the basement and at Fannie Mae, Boston Herald columnist Margery Eagan is admitting that at last she sees him for what he really is. Her explanation for supporting Frank through the brothel scandal? “Things were tougher for gay back then.”

Someone give this woman a Scott Brown button.

Factor This Bill O’Reilly: Barack is a Commie

In Disappearing Ink, Harvard Math, Obamarama on 22/05/2010 at 19:14

Factor Host Bill O'Reilly (Wikipedia)

socialism |sō sh ə lizəm|
noun
a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
• policy or practice based on this theory.
• (in Marxist theory) a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism.

Unlike many of my libertarian friends, I like Bill O’Reilly. In spite of his bombastic arrogance O’Reilly is an asset not only to the Fox News brand but to America as a whole, if for no other reason, his righteous indignation and his charitable giving. As he would say, Bill is a patriot.

On the other hand I have been mystified at O’Reilly’s inability to call Barack Obama a socialist when the President’s actions alone place him far to the left of the mainstream of American liberalism. Obama is not only a socialist; he displays all the symptoms of being a Marxist socialist. One merely has to know which Obama is speaking to know he is a socialist.

Meaning that he views socialism as a transitional step to a completely communist state.

In order to understand the national media’s seeming inability (although much of it is subterfuge) to accept an ace as an ace in Obama’s case – and I’m speaking here of honest journalists who simply don’t want to mislabel the President – one must recognize that communism’s first line of defense is denial.

No other ideology in history has use so many nom de guerres to avoid being exposed as communist. They call themselves humanitarians, progressives, liberals, social democrats, environmentalists, the New Left, Christians for Social justice, well, anything but communists.

Marxists – especially the politicians – hate to be outted. Socialism in a democratic society is an anathema and most of them – in recent years individuals like Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, and celebrities like Matt Damon – have avoided it like the plague. Socialist is a dirty word.

Notice I use the terms interchangeably: progressive, liberal, socialist or communist, the difference is only the degree to which they desire to expose themselves.

Alan Snyder has a good article on Whittaker Chambers this week at Big Government on the late Time magazine senior editor’s epiphany on this very subject.

Bill O’Reilly does his middleclass upbringing as well as his profession a disservice by refusing to come to terms with Barack Obama’s socialism, because the President is counting on the fact that the media will not out him.

I don’t believe Obama envisions himself as a future dictator. I believe he sees himself as an instrument or perhaps the instrument of U.S. social transition. The one who will put in place the apparatus that will eventually “elevate” the country to a utopian socialist society. He sees a communist government as the ultimate adjudicator of a racist, greed-driven and imperialistic society’s sins.

If the President is successful in gaining a second term he will accomplish his goal, because the course he will have put us on after a second term will be irreversible.

In the classic sense Bill O’Reilly is not an elitist but he has certainly bought into the elitist progressive agenda by not pegging Barack Obama into his hole as a socialist. Yes, Bill, Obama likes his wealth and his property. All socialist elitists believe they deserve it; they just don’t want you to have it.

O’Reilly needs to wise up to Obama. He is a powerful voice in America and he can do a lot toward shinning a light on the President’s motives and prevarications.
