Islam on the March in Mexico

It is one of the fastest growing religions on earth, and it is multiplying at an alarming rate according to a 2005 report by the BBC.

It is of course Islam, and with increasing tensions on the US-Mexican border, it is one more cause of concern for citizens already feeling the threat of increasingly emboldened drug and human trafficking cartels. Islam is growing in Mexico.

Although both the US and Mexican governments insist that there has been no terrorist activity by Islamic Mexicans, in 2001 an Agua Prieta, Mexico newspaper reported the apprehension of 13 Yemeni men it identified as “terrorists” attempting to cross into the United States.

And while Janet Napolitano and the Obama administration dawdle, leaders in the Mexican Islamic movement make no bones about it; Islam is on the march in Mexico. Hundreds of indigenous Mayans, a group that has been widely oppressed throughout Mexican history, have already converted.

While Islam as a whole may or may not pose an immanent threat to the United States, extremist factions within the religion are aggressive and they thrive on ignorance among uneducated and desperate converts. Hezbollah has established cells in South America with the US as its intended target.

The question remains: Can the government continue to place at risk American lives on a fanciful politically correct notion that mosques on both sides of the border are not harboring and/or training terrorists.

The drug war in Mexico makes Afghanistan look like child’s play by comparison; thousands are dying annually. Some Americans have died on both sides of the border but it is merely a matter of time until it spills over into a full-blown war on American soil.

For thirty years the open-border media have diverted public attention in the illegal immigration debate with the smokescreen of racial prejudice, when the truth could not be plainer. It is and always has been an issue of national security.

Whether Latin Muslims pose an imminent threat, if the government doesn’t move in to secure this border  soon, one day they will. Border security is not an issue of immigration or what position entrenched politicians on the right and left may have on illegals. Regardless of what is to be done with the 12 to 20 million illegals currently in the country, time has run out on the larger issues. Eventually, radical sects of Islam will penetrate US soil if the border is not closed.

Between the ongoing drug war and elements of Islamic zealots sworn to destroy America, lives will be lost as a result of our government’s laissez-faire attitude on the border. And no administration has been more criminally negligent-and it is criminal-than the current one.

The Obama administration must secure the border immediately.

We’ve all known it for sometime. Islamic extremists are a thing of the past in the Obama administration.

Barack Obama’s continued appeasement of Islamics, and, therefore, the rise of Islamic extremism, is something that should concern every American, regardless of his or her political affiliation. For centuries without respite, practitioners of the Islamic faith have committed unthinkable atrocities against anyone and everyone with whom they disagree.

The toll worldwide is staggering. Stoning is commonplace in Muslim tradition and is rarely reported by the western media. The movie “The Stoning of Soraya M” is one movie that amazingly made the cut in Hollywood, and every American should see it.

Liberals in the media are always quick to point out that radical Islamics are but a small percentage of the worldwide population, but conservative estimates are well over 10%, far above radical sects of any other mainstream religion. That amounts to conservatively more than 110 million. Sharia law is now one of the most practiced legal systems in the world.

From antiquity to the Holocaust and into the present day Muslims have been involved in brutality against every religious sect on the planet, not to mention against dissenters within their own religion.

Religion, however, is not exactly the right word in referring to Islam; it is more a political credo. True, it has a religious dogma, but Islam has a worldview that is beyond comprehension to Americans who cherish the religious freedoms. If Islam is left to steep in this country, it will in less than a few decades influence everything from our banking system to critical relationships with our allies around the world.

The government in the Netherlands recently collapsed as a result of that country’s support of the war in Afghanistan. Muslims effect everything the Dutch government does. Another issue for another time, but be aware that it will happen here if U.S. leaders do not face facts soon.

This year after the elections, one or both houses of congress should launch a full-scale investigation on the practice of Sharia and Wahhabism in the United States, and how it effects the communities where it is most prominent. Yes, Americans regard the right to religious freedom as precious, but a religion that restricts the equally sacred religious rights and freedoms of others, is not a religion – it is a travesty.

Authorities Backtrack on Qatari Shoe Bomber Story

UPDATE 2.08pm: A QATARI diplomat has caused a mid-air panic after reportedly putting a cigarette out on his sandals during a US flight.

ABC News earlier this hour reported that a Qatari diplomat attempted to ignite a shoe bomb on a United Airlines flight with 157 passengers aboard.

Authorities have identified the passenger as Mohammed al-Modadi, who has full diplomatic immunity as the third secretary and vice-consul of the Qatari embassy in Washington, according to the network.

In a story filed moments ago the network reported:

Authorities say the diplomat was wrestled to the ground and two F-16 fighter jets were dispatched to accompany the 757 on the final 40 minutes of its flight to Denver. Flight 663 originated from Washington Reagan airport.

A US security official said, “It may have been a massive misunderstanding” and the diplomat’s statement may have been a “sarcastic” comment when he was confronted by two air marshals who had been told by flight attendants that smoke was coming from the lavatory.

Massive, I guess!

Fox News Picks Up:

The suspect may have tried to light his shoes or something else in an attempt to cover up another smell, the source told Fox News, and other reports suggest the man might have been putting out a cigarette. However, authorities have come to no final conclusion yet and continue to investigate.

The Associated Press cited unnamed sources saying the FBI is investigating the incident. The Transportation Safety Administration confirmed it was “monitoring” the incident, saying initial reports described a passenger “possibly causing a disturbance.”

The San Francisco Chronicle is now reporting:

A Qatari diplomat trying to sneak a smoke in an airplane bathroom sparked a bomb scare Wednesday night on a flight from Washington to Denver, with fighter jets scrambled and law enforcement put on high alert, officials said.

DOESN’T THIS GUY KNOW CIGARETTES ARE HAZARDOUS TO HIS HEALTH?!

Barack Obama wants everyone who jumped to conclusions, rushed to judgment, made a hasty assumption, or otherwise had a bad thought about Arabs, Persians, Muslims or others who smell strongly of curry and smoke in airplane lavatories, to be ashamed of themselves.
